STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION
So A LOT of people have been sending me messages, asking me to write about my trip with ALL the details, so that's what i did =3
WEDNESDAY FEB 25: Left Lyon around 1pm. Drove up to Lille.
THURSDAY FEB 26: Drove to Calais and took a ferry to Dover (England). The boat was really nice! Then we drove to London and ate at McDonalds (i'm lovin' it) =P Arrived in Northampton at the Park Inn Hotel, where the convention was, around 11pm. I couldn't go to sleep so i watched Supernatural and fell asleep around midnight lol
FRIDAY FEB 27: I had a quiet breakfast with my family. It was really funny because i was expecting to see all the fan girls, but there was like, no one there. We went to visit the city a little bit. At around 1:40pm, i went back to the hotel with my sister. The lobby was SO crowded! There were TONS of girls checking in and getting in line to register for the convention. There were girls from England, the US, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy [...] and only 2 girls from Australia, my new friends Hannah and Sarah! When the registration people came, they said that the people under 18 had to have an adult to register. I was annoyed because me and my sister had to go back out and drag my mom to the hotel. Finally, we got our passes and packages and went up to our rooms. Now there were girls EVERYWHERE! I checked out all the stuff in the package: our schedule, glossy pictures to be signed, autograph and photoshoot vouchers, edward postcard, LaPush pin and candy and even a Twilight apple! xD. We chilled out and then went down to dinner at around 5:30pm. Then we went to get ready for the Opening Ceremony that was at 7pm.
We went down to the conference room at around 6:30pm and could barely ge through the door! The girls were all huddled around. The staff people were calling us by groups of ten from the gold ticket members, then the silvers and then the standards. My sis and I were silvers 6 and 7(me) so we were seated behind the golds. We were about 5 rows away from the stage where there were 5 seats for the guests (Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Peter Facinelli, Justin Chon and Christian Serratos) and two video screens on each side. Everyone was taking pictures. Tati (my sister) and I sat beside these two australian girls. I offered to take a picture of them together. So thats how i met Sarah and Hannah! The lights went down except the spotlights on the stage and everyone started screaming. On the 2 screens, there was an intro video. At one time, it showed pictures of the guests. I think everyone screamed the loudest for Kellan, lol. After the video, the organiser of the convention thanked us for coming, blablabla and then welcomed the actors on stage. I swear i thought my ears would bleed! EVERYONE was screaming their heads off, it was hilarious. The guests were all surprised to see how....enthusiastic everyone was =3 Basically, they said thanks for giving them the oppurtunity to come and they told us about their trip coming to England.
The Opening Ceremony ended at 7:30pm. I made plans to meet up with Sarah and Hannah at the La Push party that night. The party started at 8:30pm. Everyone was dressed up in beach wear and some were dressed up as native americans like myself =P The party started out with the songs from the Twilight soundtrack of course, lol. There was kareoke and this electronic surf thing that would move. People would stand on it and see how long they could last. I made plans with Sarah and Hannah for Saturday, since we were in group 6, we had the same schedule. We danced and just had blast! I went to bed at 11pm.
SATURDAY FEB 28: I had to wake up at 6am to take a shower, have breakfast and everything because my day started out with the photoshoot with Justin Chon at 9. I met up with the girls down in the lobby. We couldn't talk with the actors at the photoshoots, because there really wasn't any time. Justin greeted me and the photographer took our picture. The photographer said that I had my hair in my face so we had to take another one and Justin was like 'You got yo hair on yo face girl'. It was funny =3
Then we had our photos with Kellan (9:15)! We couldn't stop smiling and giggling, we were VERY excited. Kellan really is like a teddy bear!
We had a super short 15 minute break and then went to get our autograph from Christian Serratos. For the autographs, we were given sticky notes to write our name and then stick it on whatever we wanted to get signed. She smiled when she read my name. Christian: 'Cool! We got a Bella over here!'
At 10:15 we had our photoshoot with Ashley. I got embarassed to take a picture with her because even the fans who were really pretty looked really ugly next to her, she is even MORE gorgeous in real life!
(11:00) While we were in the line to enter the room for the photo with Christian, this man passed by RIGHT beside us really quickly and said hello. Sarah, Hannah and I said hello but didn't really look at his face. About 3 seconds later, we turned back around to look at him again and it was PATER FACINELLI! We all laughed so hard. We hadn't recognized him because of his big glasses xD. Anyway, when we got our pic with Christian the girls and i realize how freaking skinny she is. I knew she was skinny already from the movie, but she had coats and long sleeves so it wasn't so bad. But with the dress she was wearing at the photoshoot, she looked so fragile and i was afraid she would fall or something.
Then we had our photo with Peter at 11:15. We were also REALLY excited. He is WAY too good looking to be a father already!!!
The last activity of the day was our autographs with Kellan (12:00). I greeted him and then gave him this scrapbook I had made. His eyes popped open when he saw it. Kellan: 'Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! I'm going to check this out up in my room later' Me: 'You're welcome, i'm a big fan' x3 He signed my picture and thanked me again, his smile dazeled me! lol. Sarah had asked him if he could hug her. He pouted and said that the staff wouldn't let him, but that he promised he would giver her one that weekend.
From 12:15 to 1pm, Tati and I watched Friends and went to eat at Subway. I went to see the stage activities with Hannah and Sarah. They had a BUNCH of stuff at the auction and the fans were CRAZY! This girl bought like, these signed pics of Rob for about 100 pounds each! They were even selling a slow dance to 1 song with PETER! And this girl got it for 700 pounds!!!!!! That's A LOT of euros! The girls and I had our mouths hanging open at the stupidity of it all. After the auction, we got to see the interviews with the whole cast that will be on the Twilight DVD. Everyone screamed before Rob's interview, it was so funny.
From 3 to 3:45 we had a talk with Ashey and Kellan where they answered questions. They are ADORABLE! People kept screaming 'i love you kellan!' and he would say 'i love you too!' x3 One of the questions asked was "Who would be your Edward/Bella?" Ashley went first and as she was thinking, Kellan scooted his chair closer too her and grinned. Ashley: 'Okay, I admit, it's Kellan!' and then Kellan said Ashley. It was so cute.
At 4, we had our talk with Peter. Poor thing had a cold. Peter: 'If my voice gets a little scratchy, don't laugh, i get pretty embarassed. i promise i already went through puberty' he was hilarious! These girls screamed 'i love you' two times. The first time he said 'Oh stop it mom' and the second, he said 'Mom, you really need to stop now, you're embarassing me'. haha, i love him
Then at 5, we had the talk with Justin and Christian. They are so down to earth! It's so funny how much they are like their characters. Someone brought up the time when he sang a song at a Twilight convention in chicago and everyone was like 'sing sing sing!' and he did!!! It was awesome!
We only had about 15min to go up to our rooms and get our prom dresses for the prom party. I wore a dark turquoise dress that was my moms. All the fans looked so beautiful in their dresses! It was magical. They even had a gazeebo at the party just like the one in the movie! At about 11, the actors came to the party! Sarah was determined to get her promised hug from Kellan, lol. But while the actors were playing card games and whatnot, the fans we crowded around them and it was impossible to get near them. Everyone noticed that Ashley and Kellan had brought along 2 guy friends. One seemed to be really close to Ashley (wohoo! lol) and boy, was he hot! lol. Everyone was like, 'who is HE?'. The girls and i were chilling at the bar, thinking that the actors would get thirsty sooner or later and would have to pass by us x3 Kellan and the mysterious hot guy actually did! They had a drink and Kellan was about to leave when Sarah walked up to him. He recognized her as she asked him if he would hug her, and he did ^^. After, I asked him if he had seen the scrapbook i made him. Kellan: 'Oh my gosh, yes! thank you so much! come here you!' and he gave me this huge bear hug! Since i'm kinda short (even with heels, lol) he had to bend down. He sqeezed me so hard, i couldn't breathe, it was amazing! xD Before he left he pointed at me and screamed 'this girl made the coolest scrapbook!' to everyone, it was hilarious. The mystery boy passed by us and the girls wanted a picture with him just because he was so good looking, lol. Sarah asked what his name was. He said his name was Ryan Rottman (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2970390/). Ryan: 'I was in the House Bunny and i'm going to do a movie with Justin Timberlake soon' We were all making googly eyes at him, it was so funny. The guests all left around 11:30 but we partied until midnight and then hit the sack.
SUNDAY MARCH 1: I got up at 6 and started packing, we would be leaving at 12. I went down to meet the girls at 10:30 and started the day with the autograph from Justin. Justin was really funny and was scribbling on Christian's face in the pictures. He wrote my name with two Ls. Me: 'It's one L, but it's no big' Justin: 'Oh, sorry. Here's ONE big fat L'. =3
Then we went to get the autograph from Peter. When it was my turn, he also wrote my name with two Ls. Me: 'It's one L, but that's okay.' Peter: 'Oh sorry' he turned to one of the people from the staff and said 'go get her another one' Me: 'Oh, its okay, honestly!' Peter: 'It's not a problem, but you don't mind hanging out with me for a little while, do you?' Me: 'No, not at all!' I screaming inside my head =3 Me: 'So how are you feeling?' Peter: 'I little better thank you, i was pretty tired' Me: 'I can imagine, i'm sorry' Peter: 'It's alright' He was SO nice! Finally a person from the staff came running and said 'i couldn't find anymore of the same size'. he handed me a POSTER! (that's why it's not on facebook, it obviously doesn't fit in my scanner :P) Peter: 'Well look at that!' He took it and wrote 'hope you have a ball!' Me: 'Thank you so much! I hope you feel better and enjoy this afternoon!' Peter: 'Thank you so much, you too!' (AHHHHHHHHHHHH!)
After, we went to get our autographs from Ashley. I handed her her scrapbook. She alread had about 2 on her table! Ashley: 'Thank you so much! My mom I love looking at these together!' she was really really sweet!
Basically, i had the BEST time! I'll never ever forget it! Thank you Sarah and Hannah for your company! You guys are awesome, love your accents! ;P
